About our Preschool

Compass Christian Academy Preschool will open its doors in 2026 as a non-profit ministry of Compass Christian Church, created to meet the growing need for Christ-centered preschool education in Hanover County and the surrounding communities.

Compass Christian Academy Preschool is a religious-exempt, half-day preschool program serving children ages 2–5. Our program offers a developmentally appropriate, Christian-based curriculum designed to nurture each child’s spiritual, social, emotional, and academic growth.

Children are introduced to the love of Jesus Christ through age-appropriate learning experiences including music, arts and crafts, stories, and purposeful play in a safe and loving environment.

Compass Christian Academy Preschool welcomes all children and admits students without regard to race, color, gender, creed, or national or ethnic origin. Classrooms are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of 12 students per classroom and both a lead teacher and assistant teacher present in each class. Our qualified, dedicated teachers bring their unique gifts and talents to our program, allowing for individualized care and attention.

Enrollment Information

Enrollment for the 2026/2027 school year will open in April of 2026. If you would like to be on the list to receive an email when registration opens, please complete the form below.

Age Eligibility for 2026-2027 School Year

  • 2 Year-old classes – must turn 2 by August 31st, 2026 - 2 days per week (T/Th)

  • 3 Year-old classes – must turn 3 by August 31st 2026 - 3 days a week (M/W/F)

  • 4 Year-old classes – must turn 4 by August 31st 2026 - 5 days a week (M-F)

  • Junior Kindergarten class – must turn 4 by August 31st, 2026 – 5 days a week (M-F)

*Our 4YO and Junior Kindergarten classes will use similar curriculum. However JK will have an additional focus on Kindergarten readiness. Parents are encouraged to select placement based on the year your child will begin Kindergarten.
